🌍 How to Access Katfile if Your Provider Blocks It (DNS Guide)

Sometimes internet providers block Katfile using DNS (Domain Name System).
This does not mean the site is down. You can fix it easily by changing your DNS settings.

💻 On Desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux)

1. Open your Network Settings

  • On Windows: Right-click the Wi-Fi or network icon → Open Network & Internet settings.

  • On macOS: Apple Menu → System PreferencesNetwork.

  • On Linux: Settings → Network.

2. Find DNS Settings

Look for something called:

  • DNS settings

  • DNS server

  • Advanced network settings

3. Enter Public DNS

Replace the numbers with:

  • Google DNS → 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

  • Cloudflare DNS → 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1

4. Save and Reconnect

Click Save / Apply and reconnect to your internet.
Now try opening Katfile again.

📱 On Mobile (Android / iOS)

Android

  1. Go to SettingsWi-Fi.

  2. Tap your active Wi-Fi network (the one with ✅ connected).

  3. Look for Advanced settingsDNS.

  4. Replace the numbers with Google DNS or Cloudflare DNS.

  5. Save and reconnect.
