Sometimes internet providers block Katfile using DNS (Domain Name System).
This does not mean the site is down. You can fix it easily by changing your DNS settings.
💻 On Desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux)
1. Open your Network Settings
- On Windows: Right-click the Wi-Fi or network icon → Open Network & Internet settings.
- On macOS: Apple Menu → System Preferences → Network.
- On Linux: Settings → Network.
2. Find DNS Settings
Look for something called:
- DNS settings
- DNS server
- Advanced network settings
3. Enter Public DNS
Replace the numbers with:
- Google DNS → 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
- Cloudflare DNS → 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1
4. Save and Reconnect
Click Save / Apply and reconnect to your internet.
Now try opening Katfile again.
📱 On Mobile (Android / iOS)
Android
- Go to Settings → Wi-Fi.
- Tap your active Wi-Fi network (the one with ✅ connected).
- Look for Advanced settings → DNS.
- Replace the numbers with Google DNS or Cloudflare DNS.
- Save and reconnect.
iOS (iPhone / iPad)
- Open Settings → Wi-Fi.
- Tap the ℹ️ (info icon) next to your connected Wi-Fi.
- Scroll down to Configure DNS.
- Select Manual → Add Server → enter Google DNS or Cloudflare DNS.
- Save and reconnect.
✅ Done!
After this, you should be able to access Katfile without problems.
This works on:
- Windows
- macOS
- Linux
- Android
- iOS
If one DNS does not work, try the other (Google ↔ Cloudflare).
