Sometimes internet providers block Katfile using DNS (Domain Name System).
This does not mean the site is down. You can fix it easily by changing your DNS settings.
đģ On Desktop (Windows, macOS, Linux)
1. Open your Network Settings
On Windows: Right-click the Wi-Fi or network icon â Open Network & Internet settings.
On macOS: Apple Menu â System Preferences â Network.
On Linux: Settings â Network.
2. Find DNS Settings
Look for something called:
DNS settings
DNS server
Advanced network settings
3. Enter Public DNS
Replace the numbers with:
Google DNS â 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Cloudflare DNS â 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1
4. Save and Reconnect
Click Save / Apply and reconnect to your internet.
Now try opening Katfile again.
đą On Mobile (Android / iOS)
Android
Go to Settings â Wi-Fi.
Tap your active Wi-Fi network (the one with â connected).
Look for Advanced settings â DNS.
Replace the numbers with Google DNS or Cloudflare DNS.
Save and reconnect.
iOS (iPhone / iPad)
Open Settings â Wi-Fi.
Tap the âšī¸ (info icon) next to your connected Wi-Fi.
Scroll down to Configure DNS.
Select Manual â Add Server â enter Google DNS or Cloudflare DNS.
Save and reconnect.
â Done!
After this, you should be able to access Katfile without problems.
